Scheduled field trips and their detailed information will be listed here in the near future. Sign-up and payment two weeks prior to each field trip is required in order to attend!
Fiel d trips are voluntary opportunities for families in SCS. Field trips are open to home schoolers and non-home schoolers alike. When attendance is
limited, priority goes to SCS families first, then other home schoolers, and finally to non-home schoolers. Field trips require
signing-up and paying in advance. You MUST pay for the field trip when you sign-up, otherwise, you will not be counted and
won't receive a confirmation ticket. (Reminder calls will not be made.) Please be sure to present the ticket to the field trip coordinator upon arrival. Sign-up sheets will be available at the
parent meetings or you may send in your payment to the office to sign-up.
Field trips are available on a first-paid, first-counted basis and may
be limited to a specific age group. Please do not bring other children not in the specified age group. A student must attend with his/her parent or another home school parent. If you are
unable to attend or have any questions, please call the person in charge of that field trip (see ticket for info). Jr/Sr High field trips are for Jr/Sr and their parents only. No one younger can attend.
Field trip payments need to be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Some field trips do
have earlier payment deadlines. Anyone who has not paid by the deadline (2 weeks in advance unless stated otherwise) will forfeit their opportunity to go to that field trip.
Field trip expenses are usually not refundable. Only participants who have paid for the field trip in advance will receive confirmation tickets.
Some field trips may have specific instructions which have not been shared with the school
prior to the event. Please be understanding if you arrive and discover new information. Directions on flyers--while reliable but not guaranteed--are only to be used as an aid in
planning. Always do a reality check and watch out for construction and unexpected changes. For the courtesy of others, arrive at the field trip in advance of it's starting time. When you
arrive, keep your children with you at all times. Please, as tempting as it may seem, do not let them climb on, over or between any areas not designated for such activity! This is a common courtesy.
